Each piece of equipment to be used in the system has a unique code number. Afterwards, the pieces of equipment are listed in tables and charts with their unique code numbers.

The space-occupying pieces of equipment such as X-ray devices or turnstiles are placed on the drawings on a scale. In this way, the architectural teams can calculate the space to be occupied by each piece of equipment and use this data in their detail designs.
