The Security Procedures are one of the 5 basic elements of the Securitas Risk Management and Consultancy methodology.

The security procedures are instructions that define the routine and emergency security tasks.The procedures standardize the security tasks, increase the security awareness of the security officers, supports the system’s deterrence at regular times, and ensure a well coordinated reaction to emergencies.

The lack of security procedures causes the whole security system to be ineffective. The procedures which are impossible to apply must be considered as “not available” in practice. For this reason, the security procedures must be prepared specific to the project by professionals with extensive knowledge about the security roles and tasks.Consultants prepare the routine and emergency security procedures for their customers, and deliver to the security teams following the customer’s approval.
